Go Go Go 03:30
Go Go Go Go, where the winds do wind across the harbour Go, where the sun does shine upon your labour Where you loose your blues in the morning If you catch them in the evening You can bare them to your lover Who will soothe you while you’re grieving Go Go Go The world is turning in it’s stolen passion It shows in subtle stares and chain reactions Well I see you are a stranger Yes but why can’t I adore you And I realise the danger But my heart is beating for to Go Go Go They say you are a solitary looser The days will find you counting out your blues You’re like a drunkard in the corner Drowning in your shame You’re like a fading ornamental rose Who’s just drunk too much rain Go Go Go Go Don’t look back your past is gone Your visions are of moving on Just listen to high frequency Send desires on to me I am a child of morning light I loose my powers over night But as the dawn approaches we must go Before the jailer finds the key

Factory Girls Gone, gone the silver moon Morning comes again too soon Wake up now the city's cursing Factory girls they should be working Traffic hounds the icy street As slowly these reluctant feet Will carry me just one more time To stand on the production line And engines roar and voices drown In waves of unrelenting sound As dreams are pulled down off the shelf And stacked on the conveyer belt And all through the ticking of the day Machinery grinds the hours away What kind of life is this for me Working at the factory If I could change this world around I'd roll some magic through this town I'd put some passion in the nights And turn up all the fading lights These silver moons we hardly see Should shine from right inside of me But gone, gone the silver moon Morning comes again too soon Wake up now the city's cursing Factory girls they should be working

Riddle in the Wind There's a riddle in the wind There's a change in the air A face in the mirror With a curious stare A voice from above Crying loud and clear But the answer is Nowhere There's a question mark On a wise man's face A dirty mark On the joker and the ace Philosophies Are all over the place But the truth of the matter is Nowhere Politicians all over the place Fickle tongued and double faced Don't want to hear anymore About your squabbles and your wars Don't want to hear anymore Don't want to hear anymore There's a ghost in the corner With a message coming through An undiscovered world Coming on to you A scientist, a guru A priest absolving me and you The book of golden rules Has gone down the drain You've got to be a law Unto yourself again Just want to walk in the rain Like a child again Just want to catch the first train to Nowhere

Magic Suburb 02:57
Magic Suburb Take a boat across the water To the magic suburb Simply wraps its arms around you Like a well known proverb Don't you mind the ocean wind It'll blow away your sins The salty tide is in Tto embrace the magic suburb Gotta get on top of this Scatty old metropolis Up the hillside looking down The craziness just looks like bliss Or perhaps it's just the lights Or the blackness of the nights That fades and shades those nasty bits Gotta get away from something There's the magic suburb Weary of your woes now Tired of the stoic word They got ancient vibes there That occupy the atmosphere It's a mystical affair The magic suburb Leave your nappies and your washing, And your supermarket shopping Little village by the sea Surrounded by a mad city Say goodbye to drudgery Pack your toothbrush, come to see The mystery of history The silent streets they tell a tale But they don't speak in words The lapping slapping of the water Is a song that must be heard Don't you hesitate to roam Where the buildings creak and groan To tell you all the secrets known By the magic suburb

Travellers in your Eyes There’s travellers in your eyes There’s motion in your face And all upon your mouth Few words have left a trace There’s ghosts of trains That ride through the night That vanish in the night There’s travellers in your eyes In your eyes You speak soft and low Words of a thousand years You speak like a river Your tears Are halfway down the road They’re rolling down the road There’s travellers in your eyes Goodbye, goodbye Egypt waits for you Far off cities too And heaven lies unprobed Like hells dark ghostly globe With souvenirs in hand I watch the fading land You speak not truth or lies There’s travellers in your eyes In your eyes. You timeless pilgrims move Your ancient causes lost With memories and dust Buried ‘neath the rocks Your secrets are only known To others bound to roam These wild winds are wise There’s travellers in your eyes In your eyes

Wounded by the World He's always feeling wounded Wounded by the world Another devastation Another blank blot Always feeling wounded Wounded by the world Another devastation Another blank blot He's always so sarcastic Invisible the knife That cuts away the plastic And the frilly edges He never shows emotion He's never seen the sea He's got black and white vision Too much television He stares at the factories And the concrete pavements And the concrete eyes Poking out of people's faces He's got a picture of a girl Who doesn't want to know him He's always raving on about his Horrible nightmares He drinks a cup of coffee And misses his mouth His mum gives him a woolly scarf And a train ticket south Get lost, get lost Take your horrible wounds away Get lost, get lost I don't want to see your wounds today

The Waterfront Pigeons The waterfront pigeons are the fattest in town Ain't a-tryin' to get their waistlines down Big fat Mama she struts and strays She's living off the crumbs from the Waterfront Cafe There's plenty for all to pick and choose No errands waiting no jobs to loose Prisoners of paradise get their dues. They're living off the crumbs from the Waterfront Cafe And we're all dreamers we ramble on Minds full of future and chances gone You with all your trendy schemes And me with my expensive dreams Yes the Waterfront Pigeons make me look like a clown With my francais hat and my pensive frown So absorbed with my etiquette While they suffer their graces for all they can get They got no rent to pay no union dues No papers full of tragic news No parking fines no trash to dump They got sweet heaven down by the waterfront And we're all dreamers we ramble on Minds full of future and chances gone You with all your trendy schemes And me with my expensive dreams Yes and fat Mama thinks she owns the street A taxi just missed her lazy feet And fat Daddy thinks he's the King of the Seas He ain't restricted by no wages freeze

Woman At Sea 03:13
Woman at Sea Woman at sea in a changing world Golden sunrise follow you Woman at sea you’re a changing girl And it’s all for love and it’s all for love Are you lost or are you found Do you survive or do you drown You’re a woman at sea You’re a woman at sea Once your eyes did always shine And your laughter crossed the wind In the shadows of the sun Waiting for new dreams to come Gentle waves that kiss the shore Like a woman at sea, like a woman at sea Billowed waves that break and roar Like a woman at sea, like a woman at sea Bring your soul back to the shore The lies were never meant for you Woman at sea you’re lost no more Golden sunrise follow you Now driftwood floats on oceans blue Like a woman at sea, like a woman at sea Let the moon-tide carry you Lighthouse guard will see you through Bring your soul back to the shore The lies were never meant for you Woman at sea you’re lost no more Golden sunrise follow you

Books on your Shelves Books on your shelves don't mean much to me When the wisdoms you've gained are from stories you read Oh you flash your warm eyes and then look away Like a taste of the sun on a cloudy day You know all that I'm thinking is, maybe sometime We'll give all our talking away for a while And open the pages of our secret selves To live like the stories from the books on your shelves. How to find happiness, how to be free Stories of love affairs like love should be Prophets and sages and the poets that rhyme Are just words from the pages placed in a line And you sit there talking while I dream of ways We could live more adventurous, passionate days And open the pages of our secret selves To live like the stories from the books on your shelves. Now I've been alone now for quite a few years I only let people close when I forget my fears And I know you're the same 'cause your sad eyes show through That those books on your shelves don’t mean much to you So if you're afraid to make the first move Remember we've really got nothing to lose If we open our minds and come out of ourselves And live like the stories from the books on your shelves.

The Moon & the Darkness & You Squiggly roads chasing the moon On the heels of the vagabond hills Shadows are very old portraits of ladies Silhouettes silver and still Husky saxophones seem to say nothing That you understand with your mind From shadow to darkness, and darkness to shadow Everything drowned in a line But headlights and blind lights and devil may care Leaving all naked, intrude And nothing was magic until I was kissed By the moon and the darkness and you Whirlwinds come like emotion Passing in waves through myself Remembering bygone misfortune To do with the heart and it's wealth Got to be chasing gold or moons Or illusions of sources of love Or wild hearted men who devour young ladies But never quite do it enough If witches be at their sorcery Or if devils their black art decree If all of this scene is some mortal mirage It's still got a strong hold on me For squiggly roads and persuasive moons And strange dark lands, naked and rough And the mischievous eyes of the wild hearted men Who devour young ladies for lust

Tekapo 04:22
Tekapo Light sweeps over Wide tussock plains Icy mountains That the sun can not awake Cold blue lake Penetrating blue Cuts through the glare Of these iron eyes These iron eyes Gaze slowly now Across the frozen land A vagrant leaf Abandoned by the wind And balancing upon an arc of snow Tekapo Storm clouds over Arrogant eyes Of circling hawks And the empty sounds Of nothing Lost to the water Lost to the snow Lost through the gorges Where the rivers go So slowly now Across the frozen land A vagrant leaf Abandoned by the wind And balancing upon an arc of snow Tekapo Stories and rains Faces without names Pass through these lands And are forgotten again But these tussock hills In galleries of blue Are framed forever In these iron eyes These iron eyes Gaze slowly now Across the frozen land A vagrant leaf Abandoned by the wind And balancing upon an arc of snow Tekapo
